Cost: Free
A.nnotate lets you markup web pages or uploaded PDFs or MS Office files online. Your annotations can be private or public and shared with whomever you wish. This tool also has an index of all your markups so you can easily find them again.

Example Uses
- faculty requires students to annotate any web pages used for research for papers and projects
